1 . | These Terms and conditions are for 'Free Pureit Offer' only. |

2 . | 'Free Pureit offer' (hereinafter called as 'offer') is valid on the following models of Pureit purifiers - Pureit Intella, Pureit Compact, Pureit Classic, Pureit Auto fill & Pureit Marvella. |
|
3 . | The offer is not valid on Pureit Germ Kill Kits. |
|
4 . | The offer is valid only on promotional packs that carry the offer coupon (hereinafter called as 'Coupon') and is limited to the purifier model purchased. Stocks without offer are also available. |
|
5 . | The offer is valid during the period 15th May 2011 to 30th September 2011 or till stocks last whichever is earlier (hereinafter called as 'Promotion Period') |
|
6 . | Every promotional Pureit pack purchased during the promotion will have an assured gift of getting either "Pureit free" or "Double Warranty free". |
|
7 . | The offer is valid only in India and on Pureit's purchased in India through the physical retail network of HUL. |
|
8 . | The offer is open to all Indian residents who are aged 18 or over. |
|
9 . | The offer is not open to employees and the family members of Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as 'HUL'), its associate companies, its advertising and promotional agencies and its auditor's. |
|
10 . | Prior to participation in the offer (i.e. removing the coupon and tearing it open), please make full payment for the Pureit device to the retailer. |
|
11 . | Payments should be made by cash or credit card only. |
|
12 . | On purchase of any promotional pack during the promotion period, remove the coupon affixed on the Pureit carton and tear it along the perforation provided to see what you have got. |

12 (a). | If the coupon reads as 'Pureit free', the purchaser is entitled to collect the amount already paid for Pureit device to the retailer up to a maximum of the MRP of the device so bought. The coupon can be redeemed immediately with the retailer by filling in the all details, as mentioned on the coupon and submitting it along with a photocopy of the sales invoice to the retailer. The submission of the original coupon and a photocopy of the sales invoice are required for verification and are mandatory to claim the offer gift. The purchaser is entitled to cash refund even if payment has been made using a credit card. The coupon can be used only once and against the specific Pureit device that was bought. The offer gift can be claimed within 10 days of purchase during the promotional period from retailer from whom the promotional pack was bought. It is recommended that you check the offer coupon accompanying the Pureit device purchased by you immediately after the completion of your purchase and redeem gift immediately. |

12 (b). | If the coupon reads as 'Double Warranty free', the purchaser is entitled to receive an additional 6 months of warranty on the Pureit device so bought. To redeem this offer please register yourself with the Pureit Helpline, by following the instructions mentioned on the coupon. Please retain and preserve the original coupon and the original sales invoice with yourself. It is mandatory to handover the original coupon and produce the original sales invoice to avail the warranty. Under 'Double warranty', you get 6 months warranty in addition to the standard warranty of 6 months that comes with all pureit devices, thus resulting in a total warranty of 12 months on the device. The conditions of warranty for the additional 6 months are the same as that of the standard 6 months of warranty. Please refer the product manual provided with the device for the conditions of warranty. The total warranty time will be limited to 12 months from the date of original sales invoice or till 30th Sep 2012, whichever is earlier. |

13 . | Do not accept promotional pack if the coupon is loose, damaged and / or perforation is torn. Ask for another unit. If a pack with loose, damaged and / or torn coupon is purchased then the purchaser is not eligible to exchange the pack and / or the coupon. |
|
14 . | Offer gift as mentioned on the coupon card are as stated and no alternative to the same is available. |
|
15 . | Persons who had bought Pureit device prior or subsequent to promotion period or purchased non promotional packs during the promotion period would not be eligible to participate in this offer. |
|
16 . | Wherever applicable, the coupon, when printed has no monetary value, is non-transferable, cannot be resold and cannot be used in conjunction with any other Pureit offer. |
|
17 . | HUL is not responsible for the loss of card once the sale is completed or for the loss of sales invoice from the retailer. You are requested to ensure that the sales invoice clearly mentions the name of the retailers, the date of sale and the product purchased. |
|
18 . | HUL shall not be responsible for any loss or liability arising in case the coupon is damaged, compromised or non-readable. |
|
19 . | The offer gift needs to be redeemed within the promotional period. No claims will be accepted post the promotional period, even if the Pureit devices pertaining to this were bought during the promotional period. |

20 . | Instructions to retailers |
|
20 (a). | To claim re-imbursement from HUL, in case a consumer gets 'Pureit free', as mentioned in the coupon, please have the consumer complete all details as mentioned in the coupon, and ensure that the consumer signs the same. |
|
20 (b). | Complete all details on the Offer Claim Form (available with your HUL dealer). |
|
20 (c). | Attach a photocopy of the sales invoice issued to customer and original coupon to the Claim form and submit these to HUL sales representative within a month (30 days) of sale. |
|
20 (d). | Before submitting your claim, please ensure that the coupon has the original micro embossing and is numbered to ascertain its genuineness. |
|
20 (e). | All reimbursement claims will be submitted to independent validator for verification of genuineness. |
|
20 (f). | Reimbursement would be made only in form of free replacement of the specific device model. |
|
20 (g). | Fake / duplicate / photocopied / incomplete / damaged or non-readable tear-off cards claimed will not be reimbursed. |
|
21 | HUL reserves the right to disqualify the retailer claim for 'Pureit free' gift on account of fraud for the following types of reasons. |
|
21 (a). | The 'Pureit free' coupon is not numbered, or the number does not match with the number of the offer cards or has already been claimed. |
|
21 (b). | The purchaser details as mentioned in the coupon have not been filled, or the coupon has not been signed by the purchaser, or not accompanied by a complete and signed claims form or not accompanied by a copy of the original dated sales invoice. |
|
21 (c). | The coupon is photocopied, scanned, torn or damaged in any manner, or unreadable, or does not contain the required safety / security measures incorporated in the coupon. |
|
21 (d). | Amount claimed does not match with the MRP of the device sold or the sales invoice produced. |
|
21 (e). | Sated date of invoice is not within the promotion period. |
|
21 (f). | Sales invoice is not on the letterhead of the retailer who makes the claim for refund of HUL. |
|
21 (g). | The claim has been submitted after a month (30 days) of device sale. |
|
22 . | The decision on whether the claim is valid or not rests with HUL. |
|
23 . | HUL is not responsible for claim documents lost by the retailer, or lost in transit. Retailers are required a copy of the same for their records, to protect against loss of claim(s). |
|
24 . | HUL reserves the right to disqualify the claim for 'Double Warranty free' gift on account of the following types of reasons |
|
24 (a). | The coupon is photocopied, scanned, torn or damaged in any manner, or unreadable, or does not contain the required safety / security measures incorporated in the coupon. |
|
24 (b). | The purchaser details as mentioned in the coupon have not been filled, or the coupon has not been signed, or the original sales invoice was not produced for verification. |
|
24 (c). | Sated date of invoice is not within the promotion period. |
|
25 . | The redemption of all the gifts will be governed by these 'Terms & Conditions' as set out by HUL and displayed on its website - www.pureitwater.com during the promotion period. HUL has the right to modify these terms and conditions at its discretion, prospectively or retrospectively. |

26 . | HUL reserves the right to cancel, modify, extend, curtail or withdraw the offer at its sole and absolute discretion at any time before or during the offer period. |
|
27 . | The proportion of two gifts being offered is based on the amount of sales, and the HUL management has the right to increase or reduce these proportions as per discretion, or change the gifts offered or other aspects in relation to this offer. |
|
28 . | HUL may curtail or extend the offer period at its discretion. |
|
29 . | Participation in the offer (including but not limited to buying promotional stock, tearing open the coupon, etc.) in any manner is tantamount to agreeing to the terms and conditions, as changed from time to time. |
|
30 . | HUL reserves the right to refuse any and all claims that are believed to be in breach of these terms and conditions. |
|
31 . | HUL shall be at the liberty to use the photographs, voice, motion pictures etc. of the consumers / purchasers for media coverage, advertisement or publicity in any form which is existing today or will be known anytime in future without any further agreement or any consideration to the consumers. All taxes/levies and charges on gifts will be to the account and responsibility of the consumer / purchasers. |

32 . | HUL, shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or any other liability arising out of this offer, whether direct or indirect. |
|
33 . | HUL shall not be liable for any loss or damage due to act of God, governmental actions, other force majeure circumstances and shall not be liable to pay any amount as compensation or otherwise for any other such loss. |
|
34 . | In case of any dispute regarding the redemption of gifts the decision of HUL and its partners shall be final and binding on all parties concerned. |
|
35 . | Decision of HUL and auditors will be final and binding with regard to promotion and gifts and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard. |
|
36 . | All disputes relating to this promotion shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai only. |
|
